My
sculptures are abstract geometric forms of 500 facets or
more. By making them oversized, as well as using colors
which change in the light and angle of viewing, these sculptures
are intended to interact with the viewer.
This
small maquette (below) is modeled in bronze and marble and
is intended to illustrate the overall form. The final sculpture
is intended to be executed in powder-coated steel with a
height of 6 to 8 feet. Powder-coating is a very tough and
UV resistant finish that allows for the use of so-called
"interference" or iridescent, color changing,
pigments.
All
of my sculptures are one-of-a-kind and made to the specific
size requested by the client.
I'm
sorry, but none of my sculptures are produced in "series".
